The international Erasmus Student Network is first divided into several nations, which are part of the network. On the national level, ESN could be divided in local sections. Technically speaking ESN Graz is built up of two sections: ESN TU Graz and ESN Uni Graz. But we have been cooperating for years and take care of every incoming in a common way. Therefore you can contact team members of both sections, regardless of which university you are currently studying at.
Basically we help you to organise your stay in Graz as easy and rememberable as possible:
For providing a good start in Graz, we organise the Buddy programme every semester. “Buddys” are local students who take care of international students by helping them in every day life, basic questions and solving problems. In addition to that we organise trips, parties and other events during the whole academic year, where you get to know a lot of different people, have fun and also see parts of Austria, which you may not have discovered without our help. For avoiding financial troubles during your stay, we are always bothered to create discounts and other benefits for incoming students. You can benefit from them by getting the ESNcard, the member card of the international Erasmus Student Network.
Besides you can contact us if you have any questions or problems - we will try to help you. You find us during our office hours or also on Facebook or via E-Mail.
In doing so all our team members work voluntarily in their free time:
On the one hand ESN Uni Graz is also a part of the students union of Uni Graz (Referat für Internationales), but on the other hand it’s organised as a autonomous association. ESN TU Graz is a department of the students union of the University for Technology in Graz, the Referat für Internationales.
Attention: Please don’t mix us up with the “Büro für Internationale Beziehungen” (International Relations Office) of both universites, which works on formal and judical assistance for Incomings. Please also don’t take us for the “Referat für Ausländische Studierende”, which comes along with students from other nations who stay in Austria in a long-lasting way.
You are a local student, interessted in our work and want to join as a volunteer? Please don’t hesitate to contact us!
