Dear friends and travel enthusiasts!
With the help of our good friends from ESN Maribor we are planning to take you on a trip across the beautiful country of Slovenia! The trip is going to take three days, leaving early on Friday morning and returning to Graz on Sunday evening.
During this time we are going to visit some of the places you just have to visit once in Slovenia.
Day 1: BLED AREA
We will explore the Vintgar Gorge and its stunning walkways built in rocks, while the Radovna river flows underneath our feet. You will have the opportunity to row to the island on lake Bled all by yourself! We will enjoy the marvelous landscape of Bled and its wonderful nature. Of course we also planned for an eventful night on our first day in Slovenia.
Day 2: POSTOJNA CAVE & PREDJAMA CASTLE
According to our friends from ESN Maribor, Postonja Cave is THE MOST POPUAR tourist cave in Europe. We will take the cave railway and explore the magical network of karst tunnels. We will visit the oldest underground post office in the world and hunt for the most famous underground animal – the human fish (proteus). Our final stop will be Predjama Castle, which is the largest cave castle in the world. Fear not! There will be fun night activities on day 2 of our expedition as well.
Day 3: SLOVENIAN COAST
Standing on top of Socerb hill we will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the Slovenian coastline and all of its splendor. From there we will set course to Piran and Portorož, taking our time to stroll around these two charming Mediterranean towns, getting to know the rural Slovenia.
To close our 3-day-trip there will be a small surprise.
This special trip will be an all-inclusive experience and consists of 2 overnight stays with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
