Dear friends of Austria’s fantastic snowy mountains, “Schihaserl” and Après Ski parties- how about going on a weekend trip full of skiing, fun and partying with more than 150 exchange students from all of Austria’s ESN-sections?
Sounds good? Then you should definitely join us on the ESN Austria Ski Event for three amazing days at the skiing resort Kitzbühel, located right in the middle of the Alps – Europe’s most famous (and in our humble opinion also most beautiful) mountain range.
Transportation, accommodation, as well as breakfast and dinner, your ski pass and the party on Saturday is included.
Oh, and be prepared for the famous Après Ski – Every. Single. Day!
WHEN: 15th - 17th of December 2017
MEETING POINT: 9:00 a.m. at Franz-Graf Allee (next to the Opera)
COSTS: 250€ (280€ without ESNcard. 20€ deposit included) PLEASE PAY CASH!
OPTIONAL: ♦ Ski / Snowboard instruction: for 1 day (20€), for 2 days (30€) ♦ Ski rental (including ski boots and helmet): 18€/day ♦ Ice skating (optional on friday night): 6€ ( if you need boots) / 3€ (just the entrance fee)
NOT INCLUDED: goggles, gloves, ski clothes…
Make sure that you know your European shoe size and your height (in m) / weight (in kg) :D

There will be two options how you can sign up for the Ski Event:
(1) There will be an online pre-registration with 50% of the seats starting on TUESDAY, 7th of November 2017, at 20:00:00 CET (8:00 pm CET). To pre-register, follow this link and fill in everything you are asked for: https://goo.gl/forms/dwxJ7AiKg3h1K5ex1
When you complete the online pre-registration you will get an email with a confirmation number (e.g. Confirmation number: 1). This number will be used to assign you to an office hour where you complete the sign up.
(2) On WEDNESDAY, 8th of November 2017, starting at 19:30:00 CET (7:30 pm CET), we will give out tickets with a number on them for the other half of the seats. Each person “standing in line” will get one number. This ticket cannot be transferred to another person. You have to be physically present to get a ticket with a number on it and make sure you bring your ESNCard or another form of ID to ensure your personality. You cannot get a ticket for somebody else.
Your ticket will have a confirmation number on it (e.g. Ticket number: 1). This number will be used to assign you to an office hour where you complete the sign up.
ATTENTION: Due safety regulations the tickets will be given out in lecture hall HS I (Rechbauerstraße 12, https://goo.gl/UNtPKo). PLEASE DO NOT WAIT IN THE HALLWAY LEADING TO THE ESN TU OFFICE! The lecture hall will be open from 18:00:00 CET onwards. Please do not enter the hall before 18:00:00 CET, as there will be an written exam in it. There will be ESN team members to make sure that everybody sits in the correct order of how they arrived. Subject to change.
As soon as you have your ticket you can leave the lecture hall.

To complete the sign up you have to go to the office hour your confirmation or ticket number is assigned to. Please bring your PASSPORT to the office hour and please make sure you know your current living address in Austria!

CONFIRMATION NUMBER 25+ and TICKET NUMBER 25+: Sorry, you are on the waiting list.
Do not worry if you cannot make it on the assigned day. You can come to the usual office hours (on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) in the week of November 20th to November 26th.
ATTENTION: You have to send an email to [email protected] (drwuky [at] htu [dot] tugraz [dot] at) if, again, those dates do not work for you. You can reschedule via email to the week of November 27th to December 3rd during the usual office hours.
Also there are following rules for the office hour sign up:
* You can pay only in cash. Bring the full amount!
* If you do not reschedule your sign up date or you did not show up after rescheduling your seat will be given to the next person on the waiting list. No exceptions.
* You can only sign up for yourself during the office hours. Not for a friend, nor can a friend sign you up.
* You cannot sell your seat for the skiing event to another person. The place will be given to the next person on the waiting list if you do that or try to do that.
* If you are on the waiting list and a spot clears you will be notified via email for the possible
dates you have to complete the signup in the ESN office.
