On the 5th of May 1945 the concentration camp Mauthausen was liberated by allied armies. We will visit the Mauthausen Memorial in order to learn about this tragic episode of Austrian history and to commemorate the victims of the holocaust in Austria and worldwide.
After a guided tour through the area of the former concentration camp, we’ll visit the christmas market in the beautiful city of Linz.
Approximate timetable:
07.30 a.m. - Meeting point in Graz, Franz-Graf-Allee
11.30 a.m. - Guided tour at Mauthausen Memorial
04.00 p.m. - Departure to Linz
04.30 p.m. - Arrival in Linz, short time to explore and enjoy the christmas market
06.00 p.m. - Departure to Graz
09.00 p.m. - Approximately arrival in Graz
IMPORTANT: Please bring some warm clothes and a snack with you, as we will stay outside almost the whole day and not go to a restaurant during in between!
