Join our hiking trip to the main mountain of Graz together! From the top we are going to have a wonderful view, on sunny days you can see all the way to the border of Slovenia!
On Sunday,1st of November, we're going on a hiking trip up the Schöckl. We are going to take the bus to St. Radegund, where we will start our hiking trip. After enjoying the wonderful nature we will take the bus back to Graz. Please be aware! Our way will lead us through rough and steep terrain so you will need sturdy footwear with a good profile. Bring warm clothes, because it could get windy on the mountain. Furthermore, you should pack a raincoat (no umbrella!), something to eat for the lunch break and especially enough to drink! An extra t-shirt could be useful, because you might get a little sweaty. 
Schedule:
Bus nr. 250 to St. Radegung Postamt, hike onto Schöckl (700 m cumulative elevation gain) appr. 3 hrs. (incl. short breaks) break/lunch (there is even a cottage on the mountain) hike back to St. Radegund (appr. 2 hrs.), return home with bus nr. 250.
If the weather is bad (rain), the hiking trip won’t take place! This is a real hike (5h, 700m cumulative elevation gain), not a walk! If you have any further questions, please send an e-mail to: [email protected]
