This hiking trip is going to take you to Bärenschützklamm. It is one of Austria’s most famous rock ravines and is declared as a nature treasure since 1978. The hike through that rough terrain alongside roaring waterfalls makes for a more than impressing scenery. You get a feeling for the row power of water and nature, which digs through solid rock.

After we conquered the Bärenschützklamm, there will be a stop for lunch at a mountain cabin. There you can rest your legs and enjoy the breathtaking view. The lunch is included in the price and there will be served the traditional austrian dish “Schweinsbraten” (roast pork). Also vegetarians are going to have something to eat.

Rested and fuelled up we will make the trip back to the train.

For those who are motivated and fit enough there will be the possibility to go further up to the Hochlantsch. It is the highest peak around the area of Graz (1.720m). This group will eventually take a later train to go back.
